The oldest, largest Gulf Coast Boating and Sportfishing Show is celebrating its 38th year and will display the latest model boats, motors, trailers, marine accessories, fishing gear, marine electronics and everything for fun in, on and under the water.

Saturday: 11:00AM - 10:00PM / Sunday: 11:00AM - 6:00PM
Tickets: Adults: $9.00 / Youth: $5.00 (ages 13-15 years) Children: No Charge (12 and under)
2 Day Admittance: $15.00

Advance tickets will be available November 26, 2007 at www.neworleansboatshow.com.

2008 Show Features

The Take Me Fishing Center features ongoing fishing seminars conducted by local and regional pros.

A Tackle Time area devoted to fishing gear and accessories will make its premiere at this year's show.

Bill Dazet, renowned local artist specializing in wood carvings of fresh and salt-water fish will be on site to demonstrate his carving techniques and showcase some of his work.

The Discover Boating Center educates attendees on all aspects of buying a boat, including how to select the proper boat to meet each buyer's needs. Learn more at www.discoverboating.com

Kids can visit the Capt. Kids Discovery Point exhibit for an interactive demonstration on nautical knot-tying, create a fish print poster, learn the different boating terms and maritime lingo and have fun getting to know what's in, under and on the water.

Girl and boy scout troops will be able to earn a special Discover Boating scouting patch by engaging in different stations set throughout the show that focus on conserving, promoting and enhancing our coastal resources.

The Interactive Electronic Video Game Experience is an exciting, fun place to play the latest video games. Try your hand at catching a monster bass, or win the big boat race! A variety of boating and water-sports games will provide a truly electronic experience.
