In addition to an outdoor product line designed and developed
to last in our unique Gulf Coast environment, Category 5 Outdoors has also
produced a line of fishing lures for the coastal angler.
These plastic swim and jerk baits are designed with the saltwater angler in mind and feature classic baits such as croaker, mullet and shrimp imitations in colors and designs that get attention.
As an example of a lure offering, the Suicide Croaker is designed as a Natural Baby Croaker Bait Fish in a textured, supple plastic featuring a paddle tail with a lifelike body. The paddle tail imparts a very lively action when fished on a spinner blade, or slow bounced along the bottom.
The World Series croaker is designed as a specialty 4" Suicide Croaker bait to attract the bigger trout and reds as they move into the marsh during the time of the World Series each year.
Besides the many inshore bait offerings, Category 5 also offers a series of plastics for offshore fishermen. The Offshore 6 inch Mullet baits are created to deliver tuna, wahoo, marlin and more. The Flying Finger Mullet is a hybridized flying fish/mullet with a large paddle tail and extended wings.
